E-bill

Connect shall mean HFCL Infotel Ltd., a Company registered under the provisions of Indian Companies Act having its Registered Office at B-71, Phase VII, Industrial Focal Point, Mohali – 160055. 

“Subscriber” person/company/firm/or any other association of persons who has subscribed for telephony/DSL-Combo services of Connect. 

 Promotion Period shall mean, the period commencing 15th Oct 2005 and ending on 15th Jan 2006.

4. Connect shall not be responsible for any loss, delay, damage, mutilation, depreciation in value of the prizes, as mentioned in this promotion.

Connect holds no warranty and shall make no representation regarding the quality of prizes.

The visuals, pictures & accessories shown in the leaflets and other promotional material are only indicative and may not be the actual prizes.

Any subscriber will be eligible for daily, weekly and bumper draw based on the points accumulated by him/her as per the slabs of the scheme.

 There are different slabs for daily draw, based on the number of calls made per day. Any person who is eligible for daily draw under higher slab is also eligible for a chance to win from the lower slab. Every person participating in this scheme shall be eligible for only one prize in the daily draw and after winning the same, his/her name would be removed from the list. Where as the winner of daily draw shall also be eligible for the weekly and bumper prize.

For the calls made in different slabs the subscriber gets the different points. These points are equal to the number of entries made to the weekly and bumper draw. The more the number of points a subscriber gets, his/her chance for winning the weekly or bumper prize would be greater.

To be eligible for the bumper prize, subscriber’s average usage for the promotion period should be equal to or greater than his/her average bill for the period of 3 billing cycles immediately preceding 15th October 2005 (i.e subscribers activated on and before 15th July will only be eligible for bumper draw).

In case, any subscriber changes his telephone number(under any circumstances) then the points gathered by him in the previous allotted number shall not be carried forwarded in the new allotted number. 

In case any subscriber is barred due to non-payment of the bills issued by Connect at the time of daily, weekly or bumper draw, he/she shall not be eligible for any prize.

Daily draws will be held on each working day and the lucky subscribers will be informed of his winning the prize within 3 working days. The daily prize, i.e Talktime that the subscriber has won as per the slab will be credited in the bill for subsequent month of the subscriber.

The prizes/Talktime won by a subscriber are non-encashable and also cannot be transferred to any other account or telephone number.

Connects’ decision on subscriber’s usage, points earned by him during the promotion period and winners & prizes, shall be final and binding and no complaints/correspondence/claims in this regard shall be entertained during or after the promotion period. 

Connect’s employees and their relatives shall not be eligible for this promotion.

All incidental costs/taxes/levies related to the prizes if any, shall be borne by the winning subscriber and Connect shall not bear the same.

Claims for prizes won in this promotion, shall be entertained latest by 28th Feb 2006. Any failure on the part of the winners to collect the prize or comply with directions issued by Connect for claim of prize shall entitle Connect to forfeit the prize(s).

In the event the subscriber, decides to shift from Connect’s network, i.e, disconnects his telephone/DSL Combo plan during this promotional period, the subscriber shall cease to be eligible for any prize. Moreover, he also stands to loose all his rights/claims of any prize/s under this promotion, which he would have won during his activation on Connect’s network.

Connect reserves the right to change/modify/extend/withdraw this promotion if and when it decides to do so without any prior notice.

This promotion is exclusive of any other promotion/programme being run by Connect.

Disputes if any, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Chandigarh only.
